Swim Gala
Congratulations to all the 4C children for their efforts shown during our swim gala. It was excellent to see so many parents poolside watching the event as our children cheered on their peers in the same house / class.

English
This week we introduced the topic of recounts and early next week our children will be writing a recount based upon the trip to the planetarium this week.
Following looking at personal recounts - our class will be studying newspapers and writing our own articles.
This weekend - why not buy the newspaper or discuss news using websites such as 'Time for Kids'.

Maths
Within Maths in Year 4, our classes will be studying area and perimeter next week. We will also be comparing unit of measure including money.
It would be a good idea this weekend - if you go shopping with your children to discuss the monetary value and offer scenarios;
"I have 20 aed and buy bread for 12.50 aed - how much change will I receive?'
