Today has been a fantastic success with our children investigating inventions that happened by mistake, visiting the 'Makers Fair', making slime and lemonade!
Congratulations to all our Year 4G children for the effort shown during our swimming gala. It was excellent to see so many parents poolside to watch the event as our children cheered on their peers in the same house / class. Our class really showed themselves to be sporting superstars this year and it continued on Monday with the swimming gala!

EnglishThis week we introduced the topic of recounts and early next week our children will be writing a recount based upon the trip to the planetarium this week! Following looking at personal recounts - our class will be studying newspapers and writing our own articles. This weekend - why not buy the newspaper or discuss news using websites such as 'BBC Newsround' or 'Time for Kids'. Key DatesThursday 16th April – Science Day Sunday 19th April – ASAs begin Thursday 4th June - ASAs finish Sunday 7th June – Bookworm sale Sunday 14th June – Father’s Day Wednesday 17th June – Maths Day Thursday 18th June – Ramadan Hours begin (probable 8:30 – 1:30) Thursday 25th June – Last day of term | MathsWithin Maths in Year 4, our classes will be studying area and perimeter next week. We will also be comparing unit of measure including money. It would be a good idea this weekend - if you go shopping with your children to discuss the monetary value and offer scenarios; "I have 20 aed and buy bread for 12.50 aed - how much change will I receive?'
