This week...
This week, we have had such a busy week in 4G with our learning within the classroom and with events! Mrs. Quinn and I have been impressed with the growing maturity of our class. We are showing the potential that we knew the children had at the start of the year. It is wonderful to see the children working hard and progressing! We have included some celebrations below to highlight the fun we have had this week in 4G.
This week
Within English we have been gathering information from a range of sources about animals for our information text. In maths, we have been using the four operations to answer real life problems.

Properties of shape
- Compare and classify geometric shapes, including quadrilaterals and triangles, based on their properties and sizes
- Identify acute and obtuse angles and compare and order angles up to two right angles by size
- Identify lines of symmetry in 2-D shapes presented in different orientations
- Complete a simple symmetric figure with respect to a specific line of symmetry
