Learning this week
Maths: The children have looked at how to find the perimeter of different shape including compound shape.
Topic: The children have done great research on our new topic 'Invention' and have produced some great work on 'The compass'. It is all on displayed in the corridor and you are very welcome to have a look.
Science: The children have been involved into different Science experiments and activities around the school today. They have also had a chance to look at inventions that happened by mistake.

Maths: We continue looking at Area and Perimeter of shapes within Maths in Year 4 next week. We will also be comparing unit of measure including money.
English: This week we introduced the topic of recounts and early next week our children will be writing a recount based upon the trip to the planetarium this week!
