Learning this week
Maths: The children continued looking at Measure where area and perimeter of compound shapes were covered. We also looked at conversion from one unit to another e.g Km to M, cm to mm etc.
English: The children discussed all the features of a recount script and wrote a recount of their trip to the Planetarium at GWA last week.
Science: The children started posing their own scientific questions and designed their own methods to answer these questions. This gave the children time to think about what equipment they will use, the steps involved in carrying out the investigation and explaining how they can control the investigation.
Topic: The children took time to identify the significance of inventions in everyday life. They looked at different inventions and explained why it was invented and what it is used for. They went on the choose the most important inventions in their lives and why.

These children received certificates for having 100% attendance record. Well done to you all.
